We are a collective of vibrant and raw radical movers, activists, and teaching artists based in Lenape Land while traveling through the cities of Miami and New York. Our work and process as artists and humans is to decolonize the body and to decolonize dance. We create intimate, erotic, and playful works that honor our collective stories, and celebrate our identities to address the issues of society through our work. We collide our Afro-Cuban influences, street dance, and Modern improvisational practices to cultivate a compelling kaleidoscope of rhythm, movement, and storytelling to pull you into the next dimension through dance, theatre, text, and original sounds to awaken our audiences. Our mission is to create social change and spark conversation throughout the country. Queerness, latinidad, otherness, community, cultura, rebellion, and moving to dismantle the outdated policing of our bodies. Our collaborators are made up from all over the world, as we say we are " de aqui, y de alla" meaning from here, and from there, and our work is for everyone near and far.

DAME LA RECETA!

SEE WORK
"Dame La Receta!" offered a kaleidoscope of rhythm, movement, and vocalization that sucked you into their Spanish familia. The unspoken and the bodily narratives, winin’ hips, live drumming, beating of the pots and pans, and the constant rhythmic changes, pulled they audience inward to the next dimension.
- A'Keitha Carey (CaribFunk Dance Critic & Writer)
I found striking how each person's personhood came before their "dancing", I had a people first corazonada.
Hermoso! this should go to a gallery of American Realness....wild, real, full of life.

-Jimena Paz
this is really really powerful work. so honored to witness the moving/reflecting/resisting/undoing/building that Chachi Perez and collaborators are engaged in.
- Jesse Zaritt

"Viajando Pa La Frontera"
Directed & Choreographed by Chachi Perez

This is a force of freedom. Thank you for this activation.
This for me is like a confessional that we get to witness. Three windows we're looking in.
